Requests stay open until the person closes them

Not when a week passes. Each card shows how many people are standing with the person who asked.

The gathering, in one place

The date, the address, who’s coming and the passage. Nobody cooks for fourteen when nine are coming.

The week’s reading, and the lesson

Leaders attach the passage and Thread lessons, so everyone has them before you meet.

A place to talk that is not the group text

Group chat with reply threads, and private conversations. With a teen and an adult in one, the group’s youth leaders are always in it too.

Keeping Close

When somebody has gone quiet, their leader sees it.

People rarely announce that they are drifting. Emberside gives their leader one name and one call worth making, before two months have gone by.

It watches six ordinary things

Turning up, replying to a gathering, asking for prayer, praying for someone, posting an update and sending a message. Never app opens, read receipts or location.

It answers who to call, not who is doing best

No rankings. Each name comes with its reason, such as said yes to the last two and did not make it. Only the leader sees the list.

The church sees counts, not prayers

Church admins see group sizes and who holds a seat. They never see prayer requests, and read a group’s messages only where a teen is, with everyone told.
